STUDY Proper study material is the key to success. While tackling CBSE board exams, NCERT is the one and only book for you. Basically, NCERT is your bible. Almost 60-70% of the paper is from NCERT and the remaining and HOTS(Higher Order Thinking Skills) which can also be solved if your NCERT concepts are clear. The questions given at the back of every chapter should be done as well. Daily practice and study is a must. Try studying 2-3 subjects in a day rather than studying 5-6. Study one difficult and two easy subjects in a day. Don’t burden yourself will all difficult subjects or questions in a day. COLOR CODING While studying, keep at least 3-4 different colour highlighters with you. Mark the important lines and questions with different colors and assign those colours their purpose. For example, red can be used for 1 mark answers, blue for 2 marks answers etc. If the idea of having a colorful book disturbs you then keep one color highlighter and highlight only the important words and lines. SCHEDULE A student’s schedule should be like a balanced meal, it should have a little of everything. You should a have proper sleep of 7-8 hours, a proper breakfast and all your meals should be homemade and nutritious. Outside food can take a toll on your health so try to avoid it as much as possible. Make sure to have like an hour or so for a physical activity. Physical activity is a must. If not physical activity then do something that you like to divert your attention from studies, for example reading, cooking listening to music etc. SOLVE SAMPLE PAPERS Sample papers can tell you a lot about the paper pattern, the type of questions that you face, how many marks a certain chapter is worth and much more. Try to solve atleast past 5 years question papers. You will have a lot of practice from it and it will help you score better. Practicing practice papers can tell you how much time you take to solve a certain section of the paper versus how much time you should take to solve it and you can try to increase your speed from it. MEDITATION At the end of the day, when you are on your bed, do some deep breathing exercises for at least 10-15 minutes.
